Alemar Fragrance House is an online fragrance business based in New South Wales, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit alemarfragrance.com or place an order, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Order details. Your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered.
  • Payment details. Payments are processed by Shopify and the payment provider you choose at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages. Anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
  • Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address, if you join our mailing list.
  • Site usage. Basic technical information such as your device, browser, IP address and the pages you view, collected through cookies.

How we use it

  • to process, pack and deliver your order, and to send order and delivery updates
  • to answer your questions and handle returns or claims
  • to send marketing emails, only if you have signed up for them
  • to keep the site secure, prevent fraud and understand how the site is used
  • to meet our legal and tax obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the services that help us run the store:

  • Shopify, which hosts this site and our checkout and stores our order records
  • payment providers, to take your payment
  • delivery carriers, who need your name, address and contact details to deliver your parcel

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are needed for the cart and checkout to work, and cookies that tell us how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as the cart, may stop working.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who have signed up for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and consumer law purposes. We keep your email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe.

Access and correction

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
